Kerala

We were to leave in 15min, our luggage was loaded into the luggage space in the a/c 6 wheeler. It was an 8 day package tour..I was excited to leave to Kerala, I'd miss some f my fav tv shows n friendz,.. I hoped it'd all be compensated,..

After long hrs of travel, we landed in Waynad,Kerala. Rainy season, it was raining heavily v had to settle indoors for the evening, en also the food- all dishes had coconut flavor, everything dint seem alright..

Follwing day v went to guruvayur to hav darshan of guruvayurappan,..I prayed it shouldn't rain for the next few days of d trip n thankfully it dint!!

After that the boat ride in the backwaters was relaxing, I had my my music player on,.. Some gud musiq wid sight seeing, I was at complete peace..

The next speed boat ride was thrilling!! I had a friend now,.. an NRI who had come to visit India in vacations..She was kind of reserved bt sweet,..

The elephant safari was hillarious!! My mom kept shouting out of fear as it took gaint steps n V had to return halfway!!

Our next stop was the Kalari Centre where the kerala marshal art was demonstrated,.. I wished to capture their aggressive expression bt my camera wouldn't zoom to dat extent,..

Beach looked boundless n as though it was touchin d sky!.. we dint venture too deep fearing our jeans woludn't dry by next day bt were amused by how our leg'd be buried in the sand for every wave reachin the shore..

V tried our hand in building castles bt no luck! v settled for mountain n fish n turtle,..

The one thing v dint enjoy much was the yatch ride in periyar wildlife sanctuary. The only savior was the old grandpa's humour that kept us from bogging down.. V could hardly spot any animals, jus deers n a few birds,..

V relished the warm ,tasty coffee available in the tortoise like refreshment centre in periyar wildlife sanctuary.

Our last destination was a park famous for Rope ride,.. On the way was a dam to be crossed , d scenery was so beautiful!! I wished i could jump off from the dam nd had wings to fly, it was so welcoming!!

The roperide was my dad's fav! the whole surrouding was seen from up above nd v would wave to the fellow travlers crossin in the other direction..

The trip came to an end,.. Wonderful experience to remember and a few friendz made for life!! I long to return back to 'The God's own Country'!!!
